| Eligibility: |
Students must be in good standing at Pitzer College. Preference given to juniors and first semester seniors but qualified sophomores are eligible if space is available. Previous Danish language study is not required |
| Preparation: |
At least one European area studies course is required before departure. Other general preparation options include: Comparative Politics, Intercultural Communications, Introduction to International/ Intercultural Studies, Introduction to Sociocultural Anthropology |

| Program Dates: |
Fall Semester: Late August to December/January (depending on exam schedule)
Spring Semester: Late January to June |
| Required Courses: |
Participants are expected to take one course while abroad that includes content on northern European history, politics, literature or culture. |
| Intensive Language: |
Pitzer students are required to take the intensive Danish language class offered each semester for the first eight weeks of the semester. |

| Course Options: |
The university features courses taught in English in the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Social Sciences and in the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences. |
| Credit Possible: |
Students must take the equivalent of a full course load at the university to equal four courses at Pitzer. Credit amounts vary for each class so students may be enrolled in anywhere from 4-6 classes. |
| Housing Options: |
Students are housed in student residence hall or in private accomodations and apartments. A stipend is provided by ISEP to cover meals. |
| Advising notes: |
ISEP exchanges have an early deadline. Students applying for Fall 2007 participation must submit the full application prior to leaving for winter break. Spring applicants will submit the application at the regular Pitzer deadline in February. Consult a Study Abroad Advisor for details. The chance of placement is limited. |
