| Eligibility: |
Advanced proficiency in Spanish required (completion of Spanish 44). Additional literature level coursework in Spanish is highly recommended. Students must be in good standing at Pitzer College. Preference given to juniors and first semester seniors but qualified sophomores are eligible if space is available. |

Participants are expected to take one course while abroad that includes content on Argentinean history, politics, literature or culture. |

| Course Options: |
The university features excellent offerings ranging from art history to philosophy. Strong fields include history, literature, international relations, Latin American studies, liberal arts, psychology, physical and music therapy, social communication, and theater arts. Research opportunities are available in environmental studies, social sciences, psychology, and sociology, among others. |
| Credit Possible: |
Six courses per semester are the normal load to equal four courses at Pitzer and some courses run the full academic year. Exchange students placed for a semester should discuss exam content and a schedule for examinations with their Argentinean professors. Students must maintain an enrollment of a minimum of five courses to retain student status. |
| Housing Options: |
Students are housed in private student residences and apartments. A stipend is provided for meals. |
| Advising notes: |
ISEP exchanges have an early deadline. Students applying for Fall 2007 participation must submit the full application prior to leaving for winter break. Spring applicants will submit the application at the regular Pitzer deadline in February. Consult a Study Abroad Advisor for details. The chance of placement is limited. |
